Sustainability – less of a trend, more of an investment logic?
(partner activity)
When politics appears to be taking a more cautious approach to climate issues, the long-term real estate industry seems, by all indications, to be maintaining its focus. This involves factors such as energy efficiency, climate risk, taxonomy, emissions and circularity. Sustainability appears less as a matter of branding and more as a question of risk management, cost control, future competitiveness, access to capital, and an ambition to build resilience in property portfolios. Welcome to a highly relevant conversation on sustainability and business logic.

Economy and Politics After the Election – Where Is the Municipal Sector Heading?
(partner activity)
The election on 13 September will naturally have significant implications for the policies pursued across Sweden’s 290 municipalities. In some cases, political priorities may shift, while in others the current direction will remain unchanged. Regardless of the outcome, many municipalities are asking what room for manoeuvre they will have during the new term of office.
Will welfare and social cohesion take priority? Will housing and infrastructure move to the top of the agenda? How will municipalities manage the challenges of climate adaptation? Together with a leading expert on Swedish politics, we will explore the key questions facing local government in the years ahead.

The Current Economic Landscape from an Investment Perspective – Key Considerations
(partner activity)
As is often the case, predicting economic developments remains exceptionally challenging. Central banks continue to be concerned about inflation, yet it is uncertain whether further interest rate increases are feasible. How severely will global supply chains be affected this time, and what implications could a peaceful resolution between the United States and Iran have for oil infrastructure and energy markets? Will valuations of AI companies continue to rise?
Together with leading experts, we will explore these and other pressing questions in a discussion on economics and investments, designed to provide fresh perspectives and valuable insights.

Urban Development in a long term perspective - in a time of unpredictability
(partner activity)
A little over a decade ago, people often talked about factors such as attractiveness, infrastructure and quality of life in relation to urban development. Today, issues such as resilience, total defence and energy supply are on the agenda. Major global events now seem to have a more direct impact on how cities are governed and developed. Here, we discuss how to maintain a long-term perspective while also being prepared to respond to short-term disruptions.

How Will Sweden’s Long-Term Economic Choices Impact the Real Estate Market?
(partner activity)
Real estate is a long-term asset class, and the sector is influenced not only by interest rates and economic cycles, but also by energy prices, climate policy, and new regulations. In this session, we take a broader perspective and ask whether Sweden has the conditions in place for a new investment cycle. We will also explore what the green transition, growing energy demand, and the likely economic outlook mean for the real estate sector in the years ahead.
