He has held technical, commercial and leadership roles with leading energy and oilfield service companies including Schlumberger, Smith International, Baker Hughes, GyroData, Dynamic Energy, Dogleg Company and Ranadrill.
With a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and deep technical expertise in drilling and oilfield operations, Choeib combines strong engineering knowledge with extensive experience in energy markets, business strategy and project management.
His international career has taken him across Algeria, Venezuela, Saudi Arabia, the United States, the United Kingdom, Norway and the UAE, giving him extensive experience working across different markets, business environments and cultures.
Choeib’s expertise spans global energy affairs, energy markets, oil and gas economics, strategic business development and energy security. He has worked extensively with forecasting and market analysis across upstream and downstream businesses, applying analytical approaches to assess market risks and support strategic decision-making.
