onsdag 15 april 2026, 09:05 - 09:40
Main Stage
Idun, plan 1

Northern Sweden is a lucky refuge far from the worst-hit parts of our heating planet, with a comparatively low human population, abundant nature and natural resources. It is also at the forefront of the global transition to fossil-free industry, and offers a useful case study for how societies can become smarter, stronger, and more resilient as they adapt to the changing climate. Once we accept that change is necessary, this mindset can drive innovation in everything from construction to food production. Where can technology truly make a difference? What does a climate-adapted society look like in the long term? How can Sweden plan to become a safe, sustainable, and attractive place to live in a warmer world?
